    Hidroelectrica appoints provisional member of its Supervisory Board

    Hidroelectrica announces that, during the meeting held on 17 October 2023, the Supervisory Board has decided to appoint Cristian-Nicolae Stoina as a provisional member of Hidroelectrica’s Supervisory Board, starting from 18 October 2023, until the convening of the first General Meeting of Shareholders but not more than 4 months (18 February 2024).

    Hidroelectrica is the largest producer of green energy in Romania and the main provider of technological services needed in the National Energy System, being a vital company for a strategic sector, with implications for national security. The company operates a number of 187 power plants, with a hydropower capacity of 6.3 GW. Added to them is the Crucea wind farm, with an installed power of 108 MW.
