    Transelectrica Directorate presents its achievements after four months of mandate

    Published on

    After the first four months of its mandate, Transelectrica’s Directorate presents the achievements for this period:

    – 95 percent is the implementation rate of the investment plan in the first three months of 2019;

    – 119 percent is the percentage of fullfiling the maintenance plan in the first three months of 2019;

    – 38 is the number of investment projects accelerated during this period of the current Transelectrica Directorate’s mandate;

    – 6 is the number of new procurement contracts for the modernization and refurbishment of electrical installations;

    “During this period, we focused our efforts on the efficiency of the Company, but also on the extremely careful monitoring of all the investment works, by actively involving us in all the projects carried out or at different stages: acquisition, authorizations, approvals or execution. Together with the entire management team of the Company, we started the process of implementing a set of measures and a plan to streamline and re-establish the Company on the right fundamentals, in line with the management principles of a national strategic-interest strategic company. There is a transition period and now we are at the end of the regulatory period and we are preparing for the new regulatory period that will start on January 1, 2020, with ANRE already drafting legislation adapted to this context. So it is obvious that for Transelectrica 2019 it will be a year with many challenges and of course we will continue what we started six months ago with an emphasis on investing,” said Marius Dănuț Carașol, president of the Transelectrica Directorate.
