    • As part of the digital transformation project, the company makes available to designers and builders BIM files, usable in 3D modeling platforms of buildings

    • BIM files are currently available for polypropylene products for interior sewers

    • Based on the technical data, a complete design of the installation system can be made using TeraPlast products, both qualitatively and quantitatively The polypropylene interior sewer system in TeraPlast’s Installations portfolio is BIM ready.

Thus, the company takes the first steps in developing integrated solutions for the design and design of construction works, as part of the digital transformation process.

The TeraPlast library contains 160 parts for interior sewers, polypropylene pipes and fittings. The company aims to further enrich the database for Autodesk-Revit to provide efficient tools to customers, from the early stages of design. Autodesk-Revit is the most widely used architecture and construction program that provides a complete digital perspective on the project.

Digitization is on everyone’s agenda, all over the world. The challenge is to integrate it into companies’ processes. Investments in digitization can bring returns of up to 800%, according to public data. The European Commission’s report indicates Romania on the penultimate place in the EU in DESI (Index of the digital economy and society). Romania has one of the lowest rates of integration of digital technology and digital public services. Our group is in line with the direction of change required in Europe and wants to play a leading role. The paperless culture we set out to do is just part of our digital transformation. The product must be brought close to the customer, to the user, and integrated digital design solutions are where you need to be present. Our development focuses on responding on all levels of requirements in a competitive field, of increasingly complex works, which must keep pace with the evolution of the way of work of those involved, in this case 3D designsaid Ovidiu Gurău, commercial director of TeraPlast.

Building Information Modeling is a multidisciplinary facility that allows the virtual erection of a building with all its elements before the actual works. The system, based on a smart model and powered by a cloud platform, brings together all the factors and elements involved, with the effect of maximizing productivity. The data sheets attached to each product also allow the extraction at the end of an estimate with the necessary materials to have a clear picture of the quantitative flow. At the level of the TeraPlast Group, the process of digitization and optimization of operations is at an advanced stage, by adopting intelligent solutions adapted to each business segment.

The company uses, among other things, RPA (Robotic Process Automation) services developed by UiPath to analyze customer creditworthiness, record and allocate payments or business intelligence tools such as Qlik View that transform raw data sets into personalized knowledge. They are solutions based on artificial intelligence that increase working speed, accuracy and optimize costs.
