AHK Romania invites companies from Romania and the Republic of Moldova to participate in a series of bilateral meetings with six German companies specialized in energy efficiency, renewable energies and technologies for low-energy buildings. The meetings will take place as part of an economic delegation organized on September 7-11, 2026 through the export promotion program of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE).

The main purpose of the delegation is to facilitate direct contact between German technology suppliers and potential partners from Romania and the Republic of Moldova, in order to identify concrete opportunities for collaboration, distribution, project implementation and know-how transfer.

The interest in such solutions is constantly growing in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, amid the need to modernize buildings, reduce energy consumption and integrate renewable energy sources. In Romania, about 80% of the built stock requires renovation works to increase energy performance.

Local companies are looking for innovative technologies and solutions for the energy efficiency of buildings, high-performance insulation, integrated photovoltaic and solar thermal systems, energy storage solutions, intelligent energy management systems, as well as efficient technologies for heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

The focus of the delegation is the individual B2B meetings between German companies and representatives of companies, institutions and organizations from Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss directly with each German company interested in developing business partnerships in the local market, find out details about available products and technologies, and explore opportunities for long-term cooperation.

In addition to individual meetings, the delegation’s program includes an introduction to the general framework conditions in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, a specialized conference with decision-makers and experts in the field of energy efficiency, group meetings for the exchange of experience, as well as an interactive workshop with examples of good practices from Germany in the field of energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy for buildings.
