UniCredit and ING Romania grant 115 million euros financing to the Teilor Group

    Published on

ING Romania acted as Mandated Lead Arranger and Original Lender in a financing arrangement for the Teilor Group, together with UniCredit Bank, for up to 115 million euros, comprising refinancing facilities, investment financing, and revolving facilities, designed to support the group’s development and the implementation of its growth strategy.

“Teilor is a remarkable example of Romanian entrepreneurship, having succeeded in building a strong group with relevant brands and a diversified business model. We have been partnering with Teilor since 2014, and we are proud to support them, this time as Mandated Lead Arranger, in their first syndicated financing. At ING, we believe in supporting Romanian companies with ambition, vision, and long-term growth potential, offering them expertise and financial solutions to accelerate their growth,” said Claudiu Sabău, Head of Sales, Business Banking, ING Bank Romania.

Legal counsel for structuring and executing the transaction was provided by Filip & Company, one of Romania’s most highly regarded law firms in the field of Banking & Financial Services.

The transaction supports the growth plans of the Teilor Group, a Romanian entrepreneurial group with operations in Romania and Bulgaria, which brings together the TEILOR, DAAR, JANINE, and MoneyGold brands and has experienced sustained growth in recent years, based on a diversified business model and a strong market position.

The financing will support the Group’s next phase of development, including the expansion of its commercial presence and the strengthening of its ability to meet growing demand in the markets where it operates. By participating in this transaction, ING continues to support Romanian companies that contribute to economic development and the creation of long-term value.
