Between 5–10 July 2026, representatives of Distribuție Oltenia participated in the 44th edition of the Electrician’s Trophy (Trofeul Electricianului), Romania’s most prestigious professional competition for the electricity distribution sector. This year’s event was hosted by Delgaz Grid in Iași and brought together the country’s top electricians and technical specialists.
Winning the trophy for the second consecutive year confirms the outstanding expertise, consistency, and dedication of the Distribuție Oltenia team. The company’s success extended to its apprentice electricians, who claimed the Junior Team Grand Prize for the fourth consecutive year, demonstrating that continued investment in training and developing new generations of professionals is creating a lasting culture of excellence.
The competition featured both theoretical and practical challenges across the key disciplines of electricity distribution, including metering and meter verification, transformer substation operation, medium- and low-voltage network operations, protection relay testing and measurements (PRAM), substation installation and maintenance, fault diagnostics, and power system dispatching.
In addition to securing the Grand Trophy, Distribuție Oltenia achieved outstanding results across multiple individual and team categories, further highlighting the company’s high level of professional excellence.
