CPI Romania is the Main Partner of BDF GO!, one of the largest formats within Bucharest Design Festival, the initiative that connects more than 120 creative spaces, showrooms, galleries, studios, cultural organizations, and local businesses through an urban route across Bucharest.
With this partnership, CPI Romania reaffirms its commitment to supporting projects that contribute to the development of urban communities and the strengthening of the city’s identity. The value of a city is defined not only by its buildings and infrastructure, but also by the memories, stories, and communities that shape its identity and enrich the experience of those who discover it every day.
As part of Bucharest Design Festival, CPI Romania also supports the editorial project “Wandering Through Bucharest. A Dictionary of Bucharest Streets”, published by Vremea Publishing House, authored by Sorin Bordușanu and supported by CPI Romania. Ten copies of the volume are available in several locations part of the BDF GO! circuit, inviting visitors to discover the stories and the origins of Bucharest’s streets. Conceived as a living archive of the city, the project offers a different perspective on the capital, where every street name becomes a starting point for exploring urban identity and history.
“Cities are defined by the communities that bring them to life, by the stories that shape their identity, and by the spaces that facilitate interaction between people. With our partnership with Bucharest Design Festival and our support for the editorial project ‘Wandering Through Bucharest. A Dictionary of Bucharest Streets’, we aim to encourage a rediscovery of the city through its places, history, and memory. We believe that such initiatives help strengthen the connection between people and the communities they belong to, while offering a valuable perspective on how urban identity is built,” said Fulga Dinu, Country Manager, CPI Romania.
For CPI Romania, the partnership with Bucharest Design Festival complements its ongoing commitment to creating spaces that generate social value. In recent years, the company has been actively involved in projects dedicated to local communities, education, culture, and sustainability, contributing to the development of urban destinations that are relevant to city residents.
“For BDF, the BDF GO! format represents the festival’s main growth engine over the next five years, for several reasons. First, as has always been the case, the success of The Institute’s projects relies primarily on the support of creative communities and on the networks built over time. This is also true for BDF GO, a format built today and for the future on the energy and talent of more than 120 organizations that contribute over 170 valuable landmarks and initiatives alongside the ideas and projects developed by our team within the BDF program.
At the same time, BDF GO! brings together not only more than 120 creative organizations, but also their communities and audiences, within a framework that encourages them to share what they value most: people, friends, collaborators, and clients. Finally, BDF GO! invites Bucharest residents and visitors to rediscover the city and the creative entrepreneurs who give it a unique energy at national level, through a shared map and program.
We believe that our partnership with CPI Romania is not only highly valuable but also a natural fit, considering that we are talking about a company that, through its day-to-day activity, contributes to shaping and modernizing Bucharest and improving the quality of life of its residents,” said Andrei Borțun, CEO, The Institute.
