SAMEDAY, one of the leading courier companies in Romania and the wider region, closed 2025 with group revenues of RON 1.6 billion, supported by growing delivery volumes, the expansion of its easybox network, and continued investments in operational efficiency.
In Romania, the company generated revenues of more than RON 1.4 billion and reported an operating profit of RON 87 million, double the level recorded in the previous year. Net profit in Romania remained negative, mainly due to the depreciation of investments related to the company’s international expansion.
“2025 was a year of balanced growth, both financially and operationally. We focused on what matters most to customers: more predictable deliveries, flexible options, and a smoother experience for both senders and recipients. During a challenging period for many consumers and business partners, we continued to invest in our network, technology, and people, because that is where long-term value is created,” said Lucian Baltaru, CEO of SAMEDAY Group.
Over the past year, SAMEDAY invested more than RON 400 million across the group, directing resources toward technology, operational efficiency, network expansion, and customer experience improvements. Major projects included the opening of new delivery branches, the launch of new features in the company’s mobile application, and the implementation of artificial intelligence solutions in customer operations.
A key driver of growth was the continued development of out-of-home delivery services. The easybox network now includes approximately 6,400 delivery points in Romania, more than 10,000 delivery points across the region (including easybox lockers and PUDO locations), and around 500,000 locker compartments. Deliveries through easybox increased by approximately 30%, while cross-border parcel volumes grew by more than 20%.
Looking ahead, SAMEDAY plans to maintain a strong investment pace, focusing on logistics infrastructure and customer experience. The company is preparing to open three new logistics centers, each equipped with state-of-the-art sorting systems capable of increasing processing capacity by more than 20,000 parcels per hour, supporting future growth in delivery volumes.
