CTP announces the successful completion and handover of a 4,000 sqm extension for iwis at CTPark Oradea City. The project expands the company’s existing 7,000 sqm production facility, bringing its total footprint to 11,000 sqm.

Since launching operations at CTPark Oradea City in 2020, iwis has steadily expanded its local footprint.

This project marks another important milestone in our partnership with iwis, reflecting both their long-term commitment to Romania and CTP’s ability to deliver tailored, growth-ready real estate solutions that support our partners’ operational and strategic objectives, further reinforcing Oradea’s attractiveness as a strategic location for industrial and manufacturing investments,” says Iulian Ciobotaru, Regional Director West Romania at CTP in Romania.

The expansion of our production facility in Oradea represents a strategic step in strengthening our international manufacturing footprint. We are pleased to take over our new 4,000 sqm extension at CTPark Oradea City and to move forward with our plans, which are progressing on schedule. Having started our journey here in 2020, this development reflects our continued growth in Romania. As a German family-owned company with a strong international presence, we are proud to further expand our automotive operations in Oradea, where we assemble chains and tensioners for our automotive customers. We appreciate having worked with such a reliable and professional construction partner, whose project team responded promptly to all our needs. We sincerely thank them for their efforts,” says Georgiana Ivașcu, Managing Director of iwis Mobility Systems Oradea.

CTPark Oradea City is located near the Hungarian border along the European Route E60 corridor, which connects Western Europe to the Black Sea and provides efficient access to both international and domestic markets.

CTP continues to invest in Oradea’s long-term potential as a key industrial destination. Across its three industrial parks in the city—CTPark Oradea City, CTPark Oradea Cargo Terminal and CTPark Oradea North—CTP is approaching a total leasable area of 100,000 sqm following the completion of ongoing developments, offering scalable solutions in a well-connected cross-border region.
