    tbi bank announces the appointment of Armen Matevosyan as Chief Data, AI & Monetization Officer, marking his return to the bank’s senior leadership team.

    Armen Matevosyan is an international banking executive with more than two decades of experience in C-level roles across commercial banking, spanning retail banking, consumer finance, and large-scale business transformation.

    He first joined tbi bank in 2019 as Chief Commercial Officer, where he played a key role in scaling the bank’s consumer finance and retail lending business, as well as expanding its merchant ecosystem across multiple markets.

    Earlier in his career, Armen Matevosyan held senior leadership positions at Bank Republic, Société Générale, Rosbank, and Liberty Bank. In his new role, he will be responsible for advancing tbi bank’s data and AI capabilities and driving monetization through data-driven products and decisioning.

    Armen Matevosyan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the European School of Management in Georgia. He has completed studies at Montana State University (USA) and executive education at MIT Sloan. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Analytics and Data Science at the IE School of Science and Technology.
