Packeta Romania reports turnover of 29.5 million euros, up 15 percent in 2025

Packeta Romania, a digital platform for eCommerce and part of Packeta Group, closed 2025 with turnover of EUR 29.5 million, up by approximately 15% compared to the previous year. This result was supported by higher parcel volumes, the expansion of cross-border deliveries, and investments aimed at strengthening the company’s logistics infrastructure.

In 2025, Packeta Romania consolidated its national pickup point network, maintaining the threshold of more than 1,000 proprietary locations and optimising their distribution based on volumes and order density. The focus was on operational efficiency and on increasing the utilisation rate of the existing infrastructure.

The company operates two major logistics hubs, in Bucharest and Oradea, each playing a distinct role in serving regional markets. The Oradea hub is focused on facilitating flows from Europe and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), efficiently supporting international shipments to these regions. At the same time, the Bucharest hub primarily serves markets in South-Eastern Europe, contributing to shorter delivery times and stronger regional connectivity.

At the same time, the investments made in 2025 targeted process automation, route optimisation and the development of IT systems, with a direct impact on delivery predictability and processing capacity during peak periods.

Packeta Romania currently works with more than 1,800 online stores and sellers, while the segment of merchants focused on exports continued to grow steadily.

For 2026, the company expects to maintain a similar growth pace in the international segment and to increase the total number of processed parcels, both in the domestic and cross-border segments. Its strategy includes expanding existing logistics capacity, making further investments in automation, and attracting more export-oriented merchants.

“2025 confirms the maturation of Packeta’s operations in Romania and the company’s increasingly deep integration into the group’s regional infrastructure. The growth in international volumes shows that more and more Romanian merchants see exports as a strategic direction, while our role is to provide them with predictability, competitive transit times and access to an extensive logistics network. The record year achieved at group level gives us the stability and investment capacity needed to support this growth. For 2026, our objective is to expand the cross-border segment, increase the volumes processed and further develop our logistics infrastructure so that we can respond efficiently to a market that continues to grow”, says Alexandr Jeleascov, Managing Director of Packeta Romania.
