E.ON: Over half a million visitors in 2025 on the “Energy Station” platform (P)

    Published on

The “Energy Station” (Stație de Energie) platform on eon.ro is becoming one of the most popular sources of education and information in Romania about the energy market. Last year alone, it attracted more than 530,000 visitors, twice as many as in 2024. After only two years since its launch, the total number of visitors is approaching one million.

Topics such as how to become a prosumer, why photovoltaic panels should be installed by specialists, how to choose the most suitable product from a supplier’s portfolio to reduce bills, or the benefits of opting for heat pumps, are just some of the current subjects available on the platform.

The platform brings together easy-to-understand articles and practical guides, as well as a video podcast, covering topics of general interest for every energy consumer—from how energy consumption is calculated and why costs rise during winter, to solutions for improving energy efficiency at home.

“The platform was designed to become an education hub and also a real support for customers, through guides that help them better manage their energy use and budgets. I believe we have already achieved our objectives, but we are not stopping here. We will continue to develop new topics of interest for those who want to optimize their energy consumption, especially since the energy market and the international context are constantly changing,” said Claudia Griech, General Manager of E.ON Energie România.

    Growing interest in energy solutions

Over the past year, there has been a noticeable increase in interest in practical and useful content. The most-read articles focused on how natural gas bills are calculated in kWh and on the consequences of not paying energy bills on time.

Energy solutions are also among the most searched topics on the “Energy Station” platform. In particular, heat pumps—a less known and still underused solution in Romania—have drawn attention, as they require a higher initial investment but prove efficient in the long term. The guide to energy market liberalization is also among the most-read materials.
