SCOR Bucharest aims to hire over 300 professionals by the end of 2026, of which 100 in the Finance sector, 150 in Technology and Data, approximately 45 in the Property & Casualty area and 20 colleagues in the Operations sector. The recruitment process to strengthen the SCOR Bucharest team started in January 2026, and currently, the SCOR Bucharest team counts 50 professionals, directly involved in the processes and operations of the global reinsurer.
Andrei Romanescu will lead from its position of General Manager the newly established office in Romania of SCOR.

Recently, the company announced it leased a space of 2,320 sqm within Business Garden Bucharest of Vastint Romania, part of the VASTINT Group for its first office in Romania.
SCOR Bucharest, multidisciplinary teams, strategic skills and integrated expertise
The SCOR Bucharest team will include professionals in the financial field, with expertise in general accounting, back-office operations for payments and investments, financial closing and reporting or cash-flow modeling.
SCOR Bucharest is also looking for P&C specialists for roles in technical accounting, treaty administration, quoting and modeling, claims management, portfolio monitoring and underwriting support.
The technical and data division will include software developers, IT business analysts, data engineers and infrastructure and cybersecurity specialists, along with experts in Data Science and data analytics. Operationally, SCOR is looking for competencies in acquisitions and organizational transformation, essential for optimizing internal processes.
The targeted positions include junior, senior and leadership positions, allowing employees to develop new skills aligned with their core competencies and contribute to strategic projects fully integrated into the SCOR global organization.
