The Tinmar Foundation continues its commitment to education and performance by expanding the “Education for the Future” program, which supports excellence among students in Romania.

This year, Iași County becomes the epicenter of a new phase of the project, by awarding 1,110 merit scholarships to students with outstanding academic results, coming from all localities of the county.
The total value of the program for Iași County amounts to 560,000 euros, with each scholarship recipient benefiting from:
- 500 euros merit scholarship, awarded for exceptional academic results;
- Pluxee educational vouchers worth 2,000 lei, intended for the purchase of school supplies, books and materials;
- free access to a digital learning platform, worth 100 euros per scholarship recipient, through which each student can develop new skills and extracurricular abilities.
The “Education for the Future” program, initiated by the Tinmar Foundation, aims to provide equal opportunities for education and support high-performing young people who can become the future leaders, innovators and professionals of Romania.
“We strongly believe that investing in education is the most valuable bet we can make for the future of this country. We are happy that, through this program, we can encourage over a thousand young people from Iași to follow their potential and continue on the path to performance”, said Ovidiu Filip, Vice President of the Tinmar Foundation.

The program’s ambassador, Selly, one of the most influential young people in Romania, continues to inspire participants and support the importance of digital education, perseverance and personal development.
“Real education is not just about good grades, but also about the ability to discover your passions and build your future. I am happy to be part of this project that offers young people the chance to learn, improve themselves and dream bigger,” Selly said during the program.
The expansion of the program to Iași County creates a favorable environment for our high-performing students. It is an opportunity that confirms their value and strengthens the partnership between the educational environment and private initiative in support of excellence. Iași thus becomes the promoter of the “Education for the Future” program and confirms both the high level of school performance in our county and the trust given to the Iași educational community.
We are pleased that a number of 1110 students benefit from this support and we believe that this partnership strengthens the culture of social responsibility, encouraging excellence and the development of the skills necessary for the current generation, said the General School Inspector of Iași, Ms. Rodica Leontieș.
Launched in 2023, the “Education for the Future” project has become one of the largest private initiatives in Romania dedicated to supporting school performance, exceeding the threshold of 5,000 scholarships awarded at the national level, with a cumulative impact of over 2.5 million euros.
Through this initiative, the Tinmar Foundation reaffirms its mission to support education as a fundamental pillar of social progress and the sustainable future of Romania.
