On December 17, Codlea City Hall hosted the second edition of “Partners’ Day” at Serenity Resort, an event dedicated to fostering dialogue and collaboration between local public administration and the business community. Organized in partnership with the European Association of Businesswomen (PEFA) and the Brașov SME Association (PIMM), the initiative brought together over 200 participants, including local and county officials, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and media representatives.

The event provided a platform for exchanging ideas, networking, and identifying joint solutions for Codlea’s economic development. Discussions focused on creating a predictable and transparent administrative environment and recognizing the vital role businesses play in job creation and community growth.

Mayor Mihai Cîmpeanu emphasized that partnership in Codlea is “not a theoretical concept, but an administrative practice,” highlighting the establishment of an Advisory Council to involve business representatives in shaping the city’s development strategy. Prefect Cătălin Văsii praised the initiative as a model of good practice for other local administrations, while Alina Paul, President of PIMM Brașov, stressed the need for clear rules, stability, and fair partnerships.

Moderated by Andreea Negru, President of PEFA, the event underscored the importance of genuine dialogue between the public and private sectors: “When authorities and entrepreneurs sit at the same table for solutions, not formalities, the entire community benefits.”

Through this second edition of “Partners’ Day,” Codlea City Hall reaffirms its commitment to a modern, collaborative, and sustainable approach to local governance—turning public–private cooperation into a real engine for development.
