Tinmar Foundation — “Education for the Future”: 413 scholarships awarded to students in Bucharest’s Sector 3 (P)

    Published on

The Tinmar Foundation is strengthening its long-term commitment to education by awarding 413 scholarships to students from Sector 3 of the Romanian capital, as part of its strategic program, “Education for the Future.”

Each recipient receives a scholarship worth 2,000 lei, provided in the form of educational vouchers delivered through an authorized partner. Beyond financial support, students also gain access to the digital “Education for the Future” platform, where they can follow modern extracurricular courses tailored to the needs of today’s generation.

The initiative aims to encourage performance, develop future-ready skills, and reduce disparities in access to educational resources. Through consistent investment in education — regarded as a key driver of social progress — the Tinmar Foundation seeks to create the foundation for sustainable development within local communities.

“For the Tinmar Foundation, education is the most solid and responsible type of investment. Through the 413 scholarships awarded in Sector 3, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting students who demonstrate determination, potential, and the desire to grow. We firmly believe that every child deserves the chance to build their future on a strong foundation, regardless of socioeconomic background. ‘Education for the Future’ is more than a project — it is a promise we uphold with consistency and respect for the community.” — Ovidiu Filip, Vice President, Tinmar Foundation

    A program with national impact

“Education for the Future” has already expanded across several districts of Bucharest and into other counties in Romania, offering concrete support to thousands of students. The program integrates both material assistance and digital resources, working to create real opportunities and equal access to essential tools.

By continuing its efforts in Sector 3, the Tinmar Foundation underlines its active role in building a modern, inclusive, and performance-oriented educational ecosystem.

Expansion to Bihor and Iași counties

Following the successful implementation of the program in Bucharest and other regions, the Tinmar Foundation has announced the continuation of “Education for the Future” in Bihor and Iași counties. The next stages of the initiative will support students from diverse communities by offering educational scholarships and access to modern digital resources.

The foundation’s objective is to expand the project’s nationwide impact by supporting as many students as possible in their efforts to continue their educational journey under the best conditions.
