Miramax, a premium food supplier for the HoReCa sector and the home-delivery segment, founded in 2012, aims to reach a turnover of 21 million euros by the end of 2025, marking an annual growth of 5%, along with a net profit of 500,000 euros.

“Declining consumption and cost pressures have created a challenging economic environment for all players in the industry this year. Despite these challenges, we have managed to maintain our growth trend. We focused on streamlining operations while also diversifying our product portfolio to better meet the current and future needs of our clients and partners,” said Dan Frangache, CEO & Co-Founder of Miramax.

More than 1 million euros of this year’s estimated turnover was generated by the distribution of premium beef, with Miramax being one of the key players in the region in this segment.

“A few years ago, all the premium beef we sold was imported (from South America, the US, or Australia). Today, a significant part of these products comes from Romania, from local producers, without any negative impact on quality. Our goal is to continue growing alongside Romanian producers. In this direction, our newest project, launched this year, is a collaboration with a Romanian Angus beef producer, with whom we have already developed innovative products that are very well received by our partners,” added Dan Frangache.

This year also marked increased efforts to strengthen market share and boost volumes in the pizzeria segment, with a focus on mozzarella and peeled tomatoes, as well as tomato derivatives such as pizza sauce or diced tomatoes, aiming to position the company among the top choices for pizzerias and restaurants across Romania.

In 2024, the company also completed the acquisition of a 4 million euros facility in Gilău, near Cluj-Napoca, where it has been operating since 2019. The acquired space includes 2,500 sqm of storage with three different temperature zones for product preservation, as well as 1,000 sqm of office space.
