Delgaz Grid, the electricity and natural gas distribution company that is part of the E.ON Group, has signed 23 partnerships with technical dual and vocational education institutions to train future electricians/technicians and installers/welders/distribution operators for the 2025–2026 school year.

Through these partnerships, more than 200 students from 20 educational institutions in the counties of Maramureș, Suceava, Alba, Arad, Cluj, Sibiu, Satu Mare, Bihor, Mureș, Harghita, Botoșani, Bacău, Iași, Vaslui, and Neamț will carry out their practical training at Delgaz Grid. During their studies, the students are guided by training tutors and acquire technical skills specific to the energy sector.

Over 100 students are preparing for careers in the natural gas field as installers (74), welders (15), and distribution operators (19). Another 95 students are being trained in the electricity distribution field to become low-voltage electricians (76), electrical installation technicians (18), and construction electricians (1).

In addition to theoretical and practical training, Delgaz Grid provides personal protective equipment as well as the technical and material resources required for the learning process. The company also offers student scholarships throughout their studies. After completing their professional qualification, young graduates can be employed within the company.

Delgaz Grid’s partnerships extend to the university environment as well, including a collaboration with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Bucharest, aimed at practical internships. This allows students to develop their skills in a real working environment.
