Schneider Electric announces the launch of Lexium Cobot, a next-generation collaborative robot designed to improve efficiency and safety in modern factories. At the same time, the company announces a strategic partnership with Cobotware, an emerging company in the field of industrial robots and automation, which will support the expansion of the adoption of these innovative technologies in the Romanian and international industry.
Lexium Cobot is an intelligent automation solution, designed to work alongside people and perform repetitive, monotonous or physically demanding tasks. Through its advanced dynamic torque and speed monitoring technology, the cobot is able to perform delicate and precise movements, maintaining a safe working environment. Being lightweight, compact and easy to program, Lexium Cobot offers precise joint control and high positioning accuracy, ensuring rapid integration into existing production lines, without major investments.
With a wide range of models, with payloads ranging from 3 to 18 kg, Lexium Cobot can take over repetitive tasks, freeing up human operators for higher value-added tasks. The platform is compatible with Android and Windows systems and can be remotely controlled via wireless connection, facilitating operation and real-time monitoring.
