Schneider Electric, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, appoints Ionuț Farcaș as President of Central and Eastern Europe.

He joined Schneider Electric in 2014 as Vice President of the Energy Division in Romania, bringing with him valuable experience in the same sector both in Romania and in other European countries. Since then, he has held several leadership positions, including Country General Manager for Bulgaria, Albania, North Macedonia and Kosovo, and later as Senior Vice President for the Power Products division, responsible for Europe and international markets.

“I am excited to return to where I started my journey at Schneider Electric. Central and Eastern Europe is a region with great potential for growth and innovation, and Romania remains a dynamic market, of great importance, within the global strategy of our company,” said Ionuț Farcaș.

“We are delighted to meet again with Ionuț Farcaș, now in his new capacity as leader of the CEE Zone and we are glad that we will have a leader who knows the market and the organization in Romania closely, this being the subsidiary where he began his journey in Schneider Electric,” says Lucian Enaru, Country Manager Schneider Electric Romania, Armenia and Moldova. “The region we are part of is complex and offering, and Ionuț’s vast international experience will help us to fully capitalize on all available opportunities.”
