The Simply by Auchan convenience store network reaches the threshold of 10 units opened in the first six months of its launch, with the most recent stores being inaugurated in Pitești and Buzău. The 10 convenience stores operate in both urban and rural areas, and for next year the company aims to expand this concept to as many localities as possible, offering local entrepreneurs a complete package of products, services and support for developing a turnkey business in modern trade.

The first 10 Simply by Auchan units have average surfaces ranging from 60–250 sqm and offer customers a varied range of up to 3,500 items.

Most entrepreneurs who operate a Simply by Auchan store today are convenience store owners who have chosen to develop their businesses by switching to the Simply by Auchan franchise.

“Expanding the franchise store network is one of our main development objectives for 2025, through which we aim to bring the Auchan difference as close as possible to every Romanian. We welcome the local partners who have chosen to be part of the Auchan community, both experienced specialists in trade and entrepreneurs at the beginning of their journey. We thank them for their trust and assure them that they can count on Auchan for a long-term collaboration based on professionalism, innovation and continuous support,” said Ioana Toșa, Auchan Romania Sales Director.
