Qoobiss, a fintech company focused on process digitalization, specializing in remote identity verification solutions using video means, is investing half a million euros in 2024 in Origin, a global platform for the complete digitalization of customer interactions.

Scheduled to be launched in the next period, Origin can be used wherever customer action digitalization is needed, covering a wide range of industries such as finance, insurance, healthcare, and gambling.

Origin is designed to enable companies to digitize essential processes without requiring extensive internal development. The platform allows the integration of external solutions, such as remote identification, data capture through OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology, email and phone number validation, automatic document generation, template management, electronic document signing, and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML) checks. These platform extensions allow companies to create customized workflows tailored to the specific needs of each industry sector.

Also, Origin supports integration with additional plugins, such as third-party solutions, external databases, and various devices, ensuring high flexibility and scalability.

“With Origin, we aim to provide companies with a complete and flexible solution, capable of creating, optimizing, and digitizing any type of process, enabling them to improve customer experience and optimize operational efficiency. Origin allows the customization of all company workflows, all achievable with minimal intervention from the development team. This global platform will be promoted in Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia”, says Ileana Comănescu, Product Manager KYC Global at QOOBISS.

The platform’s architecture is based on microservices (each application component is developed and operated as an independent service) and Docker containerization (a platform that allows the creation, distribution, and running of applications in containers. A container is a standardized software package that includes everything needed to run an application: code, runtime, libraries, and configuration settings), ensuring compatibility and easy integration across different environments.

Due to this architecture, each module is designed to perform distinct functionalities, allowing the addition or modification of services without affecting the entire system. This modularity increases flexibility and scalability, ensuring that the platform can grow and evolve with the business.

The Origin platform interface can be created and customized according to the color palette mentioned in each company’s brand book. This personalization creates a pleasant and intuitive user experience, making the platform attractive, easy to navigate, and recognizable, thus bringing increased trust to the companies integrating it and their services.

“Origin represents the future of process and customer interaction digitalization across multiple industries, allowing companies to build solid relationships with their customers in the digital environment with minimal development effort”, adds Ileana Comănescu.

Origin offers a significant reduction in the time and resources needed for additional coding – up to 75% less time spent on internal development and up to 30% resource savings. These aspects allow companies to focus on scaling and expanding their businesses.
