Posta Romana and the European Businesswomen’s Association (PEFA) have concluded a partnership to promote gender equality and support women in the business environment, at work and in society.

This partnership reflects the firm commitment of both organizations to promoting equal opportunities and supporting the business environment. Through this collaboration, Posta Romana and PEFA aim to promote the role and importance of women in professional activity, in society and in business through specific tools.

“Gender equality represents a fundamental pillar of social and economic development, being a basic benchmark in the Romanian Post family. Currently, within the Company, 66% of employees are women, 50% holding management positions. We support equal opportunities for both professional development and promotion for women in all work environments. Through the partnership with PEFA, we continue to be actively involved and contribute to the creation of a more inclusive society for all”, said Valentin Ștefan, general director of Posta Romana.

“We believe that diversity and inclusion are fundamental values that define us as an organization and give us a competitive advantage in the business environment. We want to create a work environment based on respect, fairness, and mutual understanding, where each individual feels appreciated and valued for their contribution. In addition, through the recently established partnership with Posta Romana, we have further assumed our commitment to contribute to the elimination of gender inequalities. Through joint projects and future initiatives, we aim to encourage and facilitate women’s access to resources, training, and opportunities for business development”, underlined Andreea Negru, the president of PEFA.

Posta Romana and PEFA aims to launch joint projects in the next period to contribute to the promotion of gender equality in the business environment in Romania.
