    Published on

Groupe Atlantic, one of the leaders of the HVAC (heating – ventilation – air conditioning) industry, will open a factory in Romania, in the PWP Bucharest North industrial park, in Prahova County. The company will invest 60 million euros in the new site.

With a total area of 145,000 sqm, of which 31,000 sqm of space occupied by buildings, the factory will start the production of hot water cylinders and boiler plates, for several brands in the Groupe Atlantic portfolio. The company’s activity will begin in the last quarter of 2024, and by 2026 the team that will work at the location will reach 370 employees.

Arnaud Codron, Industrial Director, states :”Groupe Atlantic decided to establish the factory in Romania to support our existing factories and serve Central European customers in this market segment, stimulated by the transition to heat pumps. We chose this location for that it allows us to combine proximity to our customers, competitiveness and our qualifications.”

With more than 13,000 employees and a net turnover of 3.2 billion euros globally, Groupe Atlantic improves thermal comfort to better respond to the essential well-being, health and hygiene needs of millions of customers in the residential and tertiary sectors, through solutions and systems for heating and cooling water and air.
