The Board of Directors of Electrica decided the appointment of Alexandru-Aurelian Chiriţă, as Interim General Manager. His mandate has begun on May 17, 2022, for a period of 3 months.

The new interim General Manager of Electrica is a lawyer by profession, a position in which he practiced between 2009-2019. Starting in January 2019, he joined the Hidroelectrica team, taking over the position of Manager of the Legal Department and, subsequently, Manager of the Personal Data Protection Department.
