Electrica Furnizare announces the start of the turnkey construction project of a Photovoltaic Power Plant, with an installed capacity of 975.2 kWp and an average annual electricity production estimated at 1,082 MWh. The plant will cover a significant part of the beneficiary’s electricity consumption, and the investment will help reduce CO2 emissions by more than 275 tons per year.

The project in Prahova County involves the installation of photovoltaic modules, each with a power of 530Wp, on the roofs of three of the halls belonging to the LEMET Campina furniture factory.

“In addition to the traditional activities of electricity and natural gas supply, Electrica Furnizare is engaged in activities that bring to the end customers an increased energy efficiency, a predictability in energy costs and especially in achieving the common objectives of reducing the carbon footprint. Our constant concern is to offer our business partners turnkey solutions that generate, immediately after implementation, savings in terms of energy costs. We are honored by the partnership with LEMET, the construction of the photovoltaic power plant being a first step of a long-term collaboration on adopting energy efficiency solutions within a successful Romanian company,” said Iulian Matei, director of the Key Customers Department of Electrica Furnizare.

The project is currently being implemented and will be completed in early 2022.
