AHK Romania partners with ISJ Constanta on dual education, aims for more similar agreements in the country

German-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK) has signed a collaboration agreement with the Constanta County School Inspectorate (ISJ) on a dual education program.

There are currently six dual education classes in Constanta, from just one class last year, and from September 2019 a class for the merchant-seller profile will also be set up.

Such partnerships for the development and promotion of professional and dual education in Romania have also been signed with ISJ Timis, Brasov, Iasi and Ilfov. AHK Romania also aims for such partnerships in Sibiu, Cluj and Bucharest.

“We hope that these partnerships will create the right context for educating the public in each region of the country about dual education. We are glad that there is significant local support for this kind of education, which is so necessary in the educational system in Romania, in the context of the acute shortage of the labor force. We want long-term collaboration with both schools and school inspectorates,” AHK says.
