1. Rebuilding ties: Celebrating the reopening of the South African Embassy in Romania, Ambassador Duduzile Moerane-Khoza talked about the strong relations developed over the years between the two countries, which include large investments such as beer group SAB Miller’s takeover of Ursus Breweries. Now Romanians can also apply for visas for South Africa in the Embassy in Bucharest.

6. Latin connection: Stefano Albarosa, CEO of Cefin Holding, Umberto Albarosa, member of the Administration Board, launched a joint venture agreement between Cefin Holding and the Valad Investment Fund to develop industrial parks.

7. On 20 March The Diplomat organised the third edition of the Greek Investment Awards Gala, recognising the success of companies and businesspeople playing an active role in developing bilateral relations and investment between Romania and Greece. The gala was attended by new Greek Ambassador to Romania, Mr Georgios Poukamissas, representatives of the Romanian Government and over 130 leaders from the most important Greek companies.
