    STRABAG expands Building Solutions business through the acquisition of Brenneka Romania

    STRABAG Property and Facility Services (STRABAG PFS), a subsidiary of the European construction Group STRABAG, signed an agreement to acquire 100 per cent of the shares in Brenneka Install SRL and Samivo Instal SRL, companies within the Brenneka Group, headquartered in Bacău and with an operational office in Bucharest, Romania. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2026 and is subject to obtaining the necessary approvals from the relevant authorities.

    Through this acquisition, STRABAG PFS is entering the Romanian market and expanding its presence across Europe. STRABAG PFS is one of the leading providers of integrated services for buildings and technical facilities and already operates in Germany, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic and Luxembourg. Drawing on extensive technical and digital expertise, the company provides services in technical and infrastructural facility management, building services engineering, property management and industrial services.

    Brenneka’s history dates back to 2007, and it is currently one of the leading suppliers of installations for civil and industrial construction in Romania with over 230 employees. Its portfolio of services includes heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing, electrical and automation systems, fire protection systems, municipal networks, design and engineering services, as well as construction and fit-out works.
