About 40 specialists in various domains of digital economy debate its future at Cluj Innovation Days 2017. For two days, on March 30 and 31, the regional forum will be the epicentre of this field of interest in South-East Europe 2017-03-30 09:55:37
More than 400 managers and IT specialists, representatives from academia, business and public administration are gathering at the fifth edition of the regional forum Cluj Innovation Days, organized by Cluj IT Cluster. Following the 2016 discussions focused on digital medicine and smart cities, this year's theme is digital economy - business opportunities and social transformations. The event will be attended by Romanian and foreign specialists, representatives of European structures and clusters, research and innovation centres from Romania and abroad, managers and businesspeople.
"How should education evolve to meet the emerging needs of the digital economy? What should the government do to ensure that individuals are properly prepared for the new wave of jobs? Which are the new models of economy that can take advantage of the ongoing technological progress? What measures should be taken in nowadays' society, as automation is increasing dramatically? These are only a part of the questions we will be seeking answers for together with our guests," stated Stelian Brad, president of Cluj IT cluster.
Cluj Innovation Days represents a regional forum organised annually by Cluj IT cluster since 2013, which aims at strengthening the IT community and facilitating interaction with business partners and the public sector. Over 500 people attended last year's edition, focused on the topics of Digital Medicine and Digital Government.
