American International School of Bucharest to launch scholarship competition for Romanian students

American International School of Bucharest (AISB) will launch a scholarship competition for all Romanian students with outstanding results who are interested to get an international education and want to apply for this programme.

AISB scholarship programme will be launched on February 13. Three full scholarships will be awarded, starting with the 2017-2018 school year, until finishing high school, for students in eighth and ninth grades. AISB scholarships cover fees for all years of study, access to textbooks and other subjects, daily transport from home to school and back, study trips organized by AISB, lunch, school sports tournaments and a laptop for school use.

Students can register for preliminary examination to be held on March 4 at 8:30 and will consist of English tests, Mathematics and non-verbal tests. Access to these exams is mandatory prior registration at robretin@aisb.ro and presentation of identity documents. In their absence, presence on campus will not be permitted.

Ten students selected after the first examination will be invited to submit a registration file and pass a more complex exam on March 25.

AISB Scholarship Committee, which includes teachers, administrative staff members, parents and members of the school′s financial office, will review all the applications and will invite students for interview on May 6. The scholarships will be announced by the director of the American School on May 8 2017.
