Business Lease Romania ends 2016 with 27 per cent market share

Business Lease, one of the most important providers of mobility services on the Romanian market, ended last year with a market share of 27 per cent and an increase of 21 per cent of its operational lease portfolio, compared with the same period in 2015, a press release shows.

2017-01-25 15:15:10

"Romania displayed the highest economic growth in the European Union, of 4.7 per cent, a fact which also boosted the sales of new cars in 2016," said Philip Aarsman, managing director of Business Lease Romania. "This development is on the account of companies, because more than 70 per cent of these new cars are purchased by the B2B market (through fleet sales and operational leasing). I am very happy to see that our growth in Operational Leasing in 2016 was even higher, with a growth rate of 21 per cent."

The press release also shows that Business Lease′s main focuses in 2017 are in the direction of digitalizing its services and putting an accent on social responsibility.
