Gilles Roudy leaves Metro Cash & Carry Romania after 3 years
Gilles Roudy ended his mandate as general manager of Metro Cash& Carry Romania held over 2013-2016. 2016-06-15 13:58:00
The acting period will be covered by Camelia Oprea, the financial manager of Metro Cash& Carry Romania.
Gilles Roudy stated: "I am happy I had the opportunity to coordinate, for three years, the company Metro Cash & Carry Romania. I thank all my colleagues for their support, their positive energy and opening in the contribution to the success of Metro clients' operations."
During his mandate he coordinated and developed programs such as proximity stores LaDoiPasi, Metro Expo or De-ale noastre. Prior to this position, Gilles Roudy used to be commercial manager at Real International as of 2009.
Last year, Metro Cash & Carry passed from losses of 1.25 million lei in 2014 to profit of 35.4 million lei (about 8 million Euro). The retailer business reached 4.49 billion lei (1.01billion Euro last year. The company had last year a network of 31 stores with 4,576 employees. In March 2016 Metro closed the Braila store.
