Telekom Romania offers extended 4G coverage of 96 per cent of the urban population

Telekom Romania announces extended coverage for its 4G services, of 96 per cent of the urban population of Romania, enabling customers to enjoy an enhanced experience of mobile broadband services.

"Telekom Romania continues its efforts to bring customers not only a complete portfolio of communications solutions, including fixed, mobile voice and data and TV services, but also the best experience in using our services. The extended coverage for our 4G services is a major step in consolidating our broadband strategy, in our aim to bring the 4G Internet closer to the customers across the country, in addition to the best-in-class FTTx technology and best quality TV services", said Miroslav Majoroš, CEO Telekom Romania.

The extended 4G coverage is available for Telekom Romania existing and new customers of mobile service subscriptions and MagentaONE offers, residential and business, who benefit from 4G services included in their price plan.

Telekom Romania offers a wide portfolio of mobile services, for residential and business customers, with included data traffic at 4G speeds. With Telekom Romania mobile service subscriptions - Talk, Surf and Complete - with prices starting from 8.95 euros / month (VAT included), residential customers can benefit from up to 8 GB of data traffic at 4G speeds. Also, residential users of mobile data services on tablets can benefit from up to 60 GB of traffic at 4G speeds with Telekom Date Surf subscriptions, with prices starting from 8.95 euros / month (VAT included).

With Nelimitat Business subscriptions, business customers benefit from mobile voice and data services included in the subscription, plus data options at 4G speed, covering the most diverse communication needs on smartphones, for every company, from any industry. Also, the Date Surf price plans offer up to 60 GB of mobile data traffic on laptop and tablet, at 4G speeds.

In 2015, Telekom Romania launched the commercial concept MagentaONE and offered simplified integrated fixed and mobile bundles to both residential and business customers. MagentaONE stands for one Call Center, one bill, one MyAccount application (including one mobile app). Through MagentaONE, Telekom Romania also reinforced its leadership position in providing complete telecommunications and IT&C solutions to Romanian companies.

Telekom Romania is present in the Romanian market since 2014, after the joint rebranding of Romtelecom and COSMOTE Romania.
