Fan Courier estimates turnover exceeding 88.7 million Euro this year

Fan Courier, the Romanian company with 17 years on the Romanian market estimates it would end the current financial year with a turnover exceeding 88.7 million Euro, respectively 400 million lei, a 20 per cent over previous year.

The company started by three Romanian entrepreneurs, Felix Patrascanu, Adrian Mihai and Neculai Mihai, is expected to increase the business by 10-15 per cent in 2016, following the general growth trend of Romanian economy. This year, the company budgeted investments over 8 million Euro for the development of their logistics hub at Brasov and doubled the number of their offices for sending and receiving packages, reaching 108 points countrywide.

In the past ten years, the company invested over 62 million Euro, for a yearly investment of 7 million Euro with more than 4.5 million Euro invested in the past two years at Brasov where the hub will hire over 300 workers. The company fleet has been increased with 10 per cent this year and surpasses 2.650 vehicles. The old cars replacements represented 5 per cent from the overall fleet. Also, the company representatives stated that Fan Courier increased the staff with 65 per cent compared to 2013, from 2.743 collaborators to 4.500 in 2015.

The performance in 2015 also refers to an estimated 25 million collets sent, representing an average of almost 100.000 packages sent per day. The b2b segment registered an evolution of 30-40 per cent, while the b2c stood at 35 per cent from the overall operations.
In 2016, the company will focus on the development of the third logistics hub, modernization of countrywide offices and infrastructure investment.
