ALD Automotive reports a market share of 17 per cent, a fleet of 8,864 vehicles and 320 clients in the first ten years of operating on Romanian market, the company announced. 2015-12-10 10:19:43
The company focuses on three major segments: qualitative and innovative services, mobile and online apps utilization to meet the customer needs and environment sustainability. Together with the market research company Nielsen, ALD Automotive developed a study focusing on manager approach towards operational leasing services, comprising over 400 companies operating in Romania. Hence, in 2015, the operational leasing services company focused on the needs of SMEs. Together with Toyota, ALD Automotive created Toyota All Inclusive product, the first White Label product in Romania.
Also, following the digitalization trend, the company created a ALD Mobile application to enable the contact and localization of providers, besides ALD Net which is an application of online reporting and 24/7 availability to fleet managers. Also, the ALD Carselector application enable the users the possibility to configure, compare and select their car from a fleet of over 4,700 cars of various brands. Plus, the company clients benefited from a call-center application connected to Internet and Visual IVR.
In environment sustainability segment, in 2014, the company and the defensive driving school run by Titi Aur announced the launch of the eco-friendly driving program. The initiative came as a result of the EU studies indicating that transportation is accountable for 20 per cent of the overall CO2 emissions, second largest in Europe, after energy industry, with 31 per cent of the total CO2 emission volume.
