Telekom Romania: 30.000 Euro prize for solutions participating in the international Business Wall of Fame contest

Telekom Romania is launching the second edition of the international Business Wall of Fame contest initiated by Deutsche Telekom.

The competition targets the "Internet of Things" innovative business solutions. "Business Wall of Fame" is taking place in Romania and other 7 European countries (Austria, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia and Slovakia). This type of solutions must already be available for sale or in the launch status.

Romanian developers who register their "Internet of Things" solutions between the 22nd of April and the 25th of May using the platform www.wallofbusiness.ro have the possibility to win a national advertising campaign worth 30,000 euros and the chance to become a Telekom Romania partner. The winning solutions will be announced after the business community votes between the 11th of May and the 22nd; the first 15 solutions that have the most votes will be evaluated by a jury of Telekom Romania experts. The supporter-company of the winning app which had the most convincing argument in favor of it will benefit from an advertising campaign worth up to 20,000 euros.

Furthermore, the jury will offer a special award for the best international IoT solution which Deutsche Telekom will include in the business portfolio of the participating European countries, thus having the opportunity to be exposed to the company's customers in those countries. Moreover, the winner benefit of promotion as Telekom Partner on international industry fair in value of 10,000 euros.

The first edition of the "Business Wall of Fame" contest focused on finding the best cloud apps which made the activity of companies more efficient. Romania was one of the best represented countries with 59 registered apps. Smart Bill Cloud (billing app), Top Checks (analysis and monitoring app of actual and potential business partners from a financial and legal standpoint) and Sedona POS (app which transforms intelligent terminals in mobile sales points), the first three ranked apps at a national level, were included in Telekom Romania's portfolio of business solutions. The winner of the national prize, Smart Bill Cloud, has benefited of an advertising campaign developed by Telekom, and its supporter, International Leader Media, was advertised through a campaign developed by Telekom Romania.

"Internet of Things" solutions connect various equipment or devices that use an Internet connection collecting and exchanging cloud based information. The solutions target various categories such as connected cars, buildings or smart cities, industrial automation, smart metering etc.

Voting period for business customers: 11th of May-22nd of June 2015
Announcement of the national winner: 7th of July 2015.
