Ravinder Takkar replaces Inaki Berroeta at the helm of Vodafone Romania
The former general manager of Vodafone Partner Markets since 2012, Ravinder Takkar will replace Inaki Berroeta at the helm of Vodafone Romania. Takkar will take over his responsabilities in the new position starting May, 1. 2014-03-04 12:05:55
Takkar, 45, joined Vodafone in 1994 and occupied different executive positions within Vodafone Group and joint-ventures of the telecom company. He was member of the board of Vodafone India and Indus Towers, a joint-venture of Vodafone India, Airtel and idea.
Until May, the interim CEO position of Vodafone Romania will be managed by Giovanni Chiarelli, the current technical manager of the Romanian subsidiary of UK telecom company.
Takkar is licensed in computer sciences within Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
For three years, at the helm of Vodafone Romania, Inaki Berroeta has been appointed as CEO of Vodafone Australia. According to official release of the company, he will take over from current chief Bill Morrow starting March.
