Retail chain Profi names new CFO in Romania

Retail chain Profi Rom Food named Dumitru Dragomir (photo) as the company’s CFO, replacing in this position the Dutch Carel Bruseker, who occupied the lead of chain’s finances since 2009, when the company has been took over of the investment fund Enterprise Investors. Before joining Profi, Dumitru Dragomir supervised the financial departments within Ursus Breweries, Mol Romania , retail chain Artima and Albalact. Recently, Profi expanded the Romanian retail network with a new store at Piatra Neamt, the retail chain’s 117 local store in Romania. According to Pawel Musial, GM of PROFI Rom Food, the store created 22 work stations , following an investment of several hundred of Euros. In April, the retail chain opened also stores at Intorsura Buzaului, in Covasna, Zalau and Lugoj. Also, in March this year, the retail chain expanded at Sibiu by taking over six stores at Al Comsib. By yearend, the retail chain plans to add a total of 25 retail stores.
