ELSYS waste application to be presented in Budapest

Basically, through ELSYS the operators who want to ship waste for recovery outside Romania or just want to transit our country with such transport will be able to enter online the necessary information for these activities and get all approval of the transfer online.
The application reduces the time spent handling all documents by at least 20 per cent and allows online notification and reporting by using an electronic signature. "A different regional interconnection would simplify the whole process of international waste transport and give a chance to all members connected to the system to better monitor these activities," said Atilla Korodi, according to a press release.
The pilot software and web application was created by Romania within the LIFE10ENV / E / 726 projects. The total value of the project is 1,198,926 Euro, with 50 per cent of total eligible costs being supported by the European Commission. At the same time, the project aims to interconnect all the authorities responsible for the shipment of waste that can not only track the real-time route moving vehicle or train, but also the notification history.
