PM Ciolos: Government to submit sectoral action plan together with 2016 national budget

A sectoral action plan will be completed and submitted to Parliament at the same time with the 2016 national budget, Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos told a news conference in mid-November at the Government House. "In the first part of the meeting today we discussed a sectoral Action Plan with the actions we promised to draw up in our conversations in Parliament for the hearings and then at the plenary vote session. The sectoral action plan for each separate field would be partially completed and submitted to Parliament at the same time with the budget. It will certainly not be submitted as a piece of legislation, but it will accompany the budget because the sectoral plan will relate to the budget to a great extent. I asked each minister to identify what must be done in the period immediately ahead, because we are bound by certain commitments, certain legislative obligations to implement and certain conditions to meet in several sectors related to European funds as well," said Ciolos, quoted by national newswire Agerpres. Ciolos added that a second category of decisions discussed at the informal meeting on Saturday concerned already started projects.
