Mr Franz Zinsberger is the new general manager of Boehringer Ingelheim Romania.
The 51 year-old German has worked
as sales head in, respectively, CNS/Pneumology, Cardiovascular and ZNS/Uro for the company and for the last two years has headed product management CNS.

Mr Razvan Ionescu is the new editor-inchief of daily newspaper Cotidianul, part of the Realitatea-Catavencu Group, which is owned by controversial businessman Sorin
Ovidiu Vantu. Mr Ionescu was previously editor of Swiss-owned daily Evenimentul Zilei and worked at Jurnalul National.

Ms Ayse Sinirlioglu has been appointed the new Ambassador of Turkey to Romania.

Romania is set to have a new general
manager in Polish-born Mr Robert
Kowalski
, 34, a former general manager of Czech wine maker Soare Sekt.

Mr Jean-Claude Boloux, general director of BRD Sogelease, is the new coordinator for the Financial Companies Association in Romania (ALB), an association for nonbanking
fi nancial services such as leasing
and consumer credit. He will also be the chairman for the Council for Leasing within the ALB. Meanwhile Mr Dragos Marinescu, director of Provident Financial Romania will be chairman for the Council for Consumer Credit within the ALB.

Ms Nora Marcovici, 45, is the new CEO of the local branch of media and communications company BBDO. Ms Marcovici previously ran for six years the radio division of SBS Broadcasting Media.

Mr Oystein Hovdkinn is the new
Ambassador of Norway to Romania.
Previously general consul to Scotland,
60 year-old Hovdkinn served his diplomatic service in Canberra, Brussels and Bonn. He was deputy head of mission for Norway for the OSCE in Vienna (between 1994 and 2000) and deputy secretary general for the European Free Trade Association in Brussels (2003 to 2006).

Mr Adrian Gaspar is the new director
of meat product fi rm Scandia Sibiu. Mr
Gaspar has served on the board of the company for the last six years
