Ramada for Culture Capital

SIBIU Construction has begun on a new 12-storey hotel in central Sibiu, a project undertaken by Atlantic Travels, part of the Atlassib Holding, and valued at 20 million Euro. “The hotel will be affiliated to the Ramada chain and will stretch over 4,300 square metres of built surface and 18,000 square metres in total, and is scheduled for completion in April 2007,” Atlassib’s general manager Ilie Carabulea told The Diplomat.
Carabulea added that similar plans are underway for Bucharest as well as Romania’s largest cities in the near future.
“We are in the final stages of negotiations for a building and several plots of land in Bucharest,” he said.
The Cendant-owned Ramada chain is present in Bucharest through Hotel Majestic on Calea Victoriei.
