Operational leasing travels the road to maturity - but how hard will the journey be?
In the first half of 2013, the Romanian operational leasing market grew only by 1 percent against the same period of 2012 to reach slightly over 41,500 units, as the challenging economic environment and legislative changes put the market on hold. The Diplomat-Bucharest talked to industry game changers to find out the new rules for operational leasing and how the sector can expand

Although players were expecting ten percent growth by the end of 2013, to 45,000 units, the domestic operational leasing market remained at the same level during H1, at only 41,514 units (a 1 percent increase compared to first six months of 2012), according to Daniel Ivan, president of the Association of Operational Leasing Companies (ASLO).
