Appointments

 
Mr Daniele Mancini has been appointed as the new Ambassador of Italy to Romania and the Republic of Moldova. His previous postings include work in Baghdad, Paris, Washington DC and NATO in Brussels.  His hobbies include reading, walking, bicycling and travelling

Mr Mihail Hardau is the new Minister of Education and Research, replacing Mircea Miclea, who resigned following the Government's proposed cutting to education spending. A member of the ruling coalition's Democratic Party (PD), Mr Hardau is Cluj county's former prefect. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic Institute of Cluj-Napoca, Mr Hardau is also a doctor of engineering in Machine Building Technology.
Mr Abdelhamid Senouci Bereksi has recently been appointed as Ambassador of Algeria to Romania. Previous appointments include second secretary to the Embassy in Nigeria, counselor in Ethiopia, Ambassador to Mo-zambique, with accreditation for Lesotho and Swaziland. Following this Mr Bereksi was Ambassador to Pakistan, Peru, India, with accreditation for Nepal and Sri Lanka and Turkey. 58 years old, Bereksi is married and has two children. He speaks Arabic, French, English and Spanish

Mr Nallathay Navaratnarajah is the new Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, resident in Warsaw.

Mr Jo Sung Ju is the new Ambassador of the Popular Democratic Republic of Korea, resident in Sofia.


Mr Auguste Paraina is the new non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Madagascar, based in Rome.
