Alpin Group ends 2024 with turnover of over 70 million lei, announces expansion on the Romanian seaside

    Published on

The Alpin hotel group, with over 20 years of experience in tourism and hospitality, announces solid financial performance for 2024, with an 11 percent growth and an expanded investment focus, now also targeting the Romanian seaside.

At the end of 2024, Alpin Group’s turnover reached 73.7 million lei, a performance mainly supported by strengthening the corporate events segment and strategic investments in this sector.

“Last year’s growth reflects the direct effects of the strategic investments made between 2020–2023, worth over 9 million euros, in modern facilities for event organization. In 2024, Alpin locations hosted large-scale international events, averaging 800 participants, from industries such as IT, Medical, and Defense,” stated David Aron, CEO of Alpin Group.

The launch of the new K2 Alpin center, part of the Alpin Conference Center, has transformed the location into a benchmark in Romania’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) industry. With a total capacity of 7,500 sqm dedicated to conferences and exhibitions, Alpin Conference Center is currently the largest corporate event center in the country with integrated hotel services.

Beyond revenue growth, Alpin Group also recorded a significant improvement in profitability: EBITDA for 2024 was 18 million lei, over 25 percent higher compared to 2023. This was driven by cost optimization processes and the implementation of an internal “cost-management” platform designed to increase decision-making efficiency.

For 2025, Alpin Group aims for a 10 percent increase in turnover, an objective to be achieved by increasing the number of international events and strengthening commercial partnerships. At the same time, the company will continue to develop the international leisure segment in collaboration with travel agencies, through packages that include flights operated from Brașov International Airport.

Regarding medium- and long-term development prospects, Alpin Group plans to expand its portfolio through hotel and real estate projects in several areas of the country, as well as by developing partnerships for hotel operations.

Thus, the investment budget for 2025 is estimated at 10 million euros, with the largest portion allocated to the development of Rivaz Hotel, a five-star hotel project located in the Olimp resort, currently under construction.

“Rivaz Hotel is a passion project for Alpin Group, but also a bold initiative to redefine vacation standards at the Black Sea. It’s a project we’ve been shaping for over three years, combining refinement, premium services, hospitality experience, and guest care—all set in the unique natural environment of the Black Sea,” says David Aron, CEO of Alpin Group.

Rivaz Hotel boasts one of the most beautiful views in Olimp, wrapped in architecture inspired by the elegance of the French Riviera, reinterpreted in a contemporary Art Deco style. With a 40+ sqm rooftop infinity pool, private beach, SPA & fitness center, panoramic skybar, gourmet restaurant, 24/7 concierge and maintenance services, private parking, and security, Rivaz Hotel will house 130 hotel units. The investment exceeds 20 million euros, and the entire concept is developed by Alpin Group’s internal teams: general contractors, architects and designers, and management.
