ForMin Melescanu to participate in Foreign Affairs Council meeting
Foreign Affairs Minister Teodor Melescanu will participate on Monday, January 16, together with the counterparts of the European Union member states, in the monthly meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC), which will take place in Brussels, informs a Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) press release. 2017-01-16 10:27:11
The meeting will begin with a review of the main themes on the European agenda in the first semester of 2017, including in the context of the Maltese presidency of the EU Council, on which some ministers will have an opinion exchange, according to Agerpres.
Moreover, the officials will analyse the recent developments in Syria and the modalities through which the Union can contribute to the efforts of the international community for solving the crisis.
On the discussion agenda, there will be briefings on the EU-Morocco relations and the negotiations on the peace process in Cyprus.
During the working lunch, the European Foreign ministers will have a discussion on the stage of negotiations within the Peace Process in the Middle East, including following the Paris Conference.
