Colliers: Real estate deals in Romania to reach 1.5 billion Euro in 2017
The real estate consultant Colliers International estimated that the overall amount delivered by the real estate transactions made in the office, retail and logistics markets in Romania could reach 1.5 billion Euro in 2017. 2016-10-18 15:34:25
"We have all the elements to reach an investment market of 1.5 billion Euro next year, just like in 2008. There is a high probability to have new players entering the Romanian real estate market in 2017," said Robert Miklo, associate director investment services, Colliers International Romania.
Approximately 210,000 sqm of office spaces are expected to be delivered next year in Bucharest and another 200,000 sqm in the following 12-18 months in Brasov, Iasi, Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara.
According to Colliers International Romania, 2017 will be a good year for retail parks, with around 100,000 sqm to be delivered: Shopping City Satu Mare (18,000 sqm), Shopping City Sibiu (16,900 sqm extension), Ramnicu Valcea Mall (27,000 sqm), Shopping City Galati (27,000 sqm extension), Prima Shops Oradea (10,000 sqm).
