Online library elefant.ro attracts new shareholder
The online retailer Elefant announced it completed an investment of 5.5 million euro, following the transaction with Emerging Europe Accession Fund (EEAF), a private equity fund advised by Axxess Capital, that became minority shareholder with significant input. 2016-07-26 12:38:17
The new investment stage has also been performed following the contribution of Catalyst Romania, shareholder of the company since 2014. The transaction is pending the approval of Competition Council.
According to company, the investment aims at the boost of growth pace to over 50 per cent for elefant.ro. During the past six years, Elefant attracted several investment stages, through Fribourg Capital, majority shareholder of Catalyst Romania, advised by 3TS Capital Partners.
Elefant.ro launched in 2010 as online library and runs 16 delivery centers in six Romanian cities and also present in Republic of Moldova.
