ANCPI: Over 375.000 real estate transactions were performed nationwide in the first five months of 2016
A total of 375,897 real estate transactions were performed nationwide in the first five months of 2016, by 36,000 more compared to January - May 2015, shows a release of the National Cadastre and Property Advertising Agency (ANCPI) published on the institution's website., quoted by Actmedia. 2016-07-26 12:37:42
A number of 79,228 buildings were traded throughout the country this May, down by 5,500 compared to the previous month and up by over 7,000 y-o-y. Most real estate deals in the period January - May 2016 were registered in Bucharest- 36,794 followed by Ilfov - 20,868; and Timis - 18,319. The counties with the fewest such deals were Mehedinti- 3,570; Gorj - 3,432; and Bistrita-Nasaud- 3,119.
In May 2016 most real estate transactions were recorded in Bucharest - 7,964; Ilfov4,676; and Timis- 3,715. The number of mortgages and reservations entered nationwide in the land register in the first five months of 2016 was 77,072, up by almost 10,000 from the same period of 2015.
The number of cadastre and land registry operations carried out at nationwide in the first five months of the year is about 2.65 million, down by 7,146 compared to the similar period of 2015. Over January - May 2016, most cadastre and real estate advertising operations were registered in Bucharest, Ilfov and Timis, and the fewest were in the counties of Gorj, Mehedinti and Salaj.
